Who we are

AutoPortation is a vehicle transport platform operated by Concierge Auto Transport LLC, 578 Northwest 112th Street, Miami, Florida 33168. This policy covers autoportation.com, the shipment sites brokers make available to their customers at addresses ending in autoportation.com, the broker console, and the driver inspection link. When this policy says "we", it means Concierge Auto Transport LLC operating the AutoPortation platform.

Brokers who use the platform are separate businesses. When you book a shipment with a broker, the broker is responsible for the booking and for the information they collect from you. We process that information on the broker's behalf to run your shipment record.

Information we collect

From brokers: business name, contact name, email address, phone number, and billing details for the platform subscription.

From customers, entered by the broker or by you: your name, mobile phone number, email address if you provide one, the vehicle being shipped, pickup and delivery addresses, the dates of your shipment, photos you add to your shipment record, and questions you type into it. If you pay your broker by card in the app, you enter your card details on the payment processor's page, and we keep the amount, when it was paid, and any refund or dispute.

From drivers: the mobile number the carrier gives the broker for the shipment, and, through the driver inspection link, the driver's name, inspection photographs of the vehicle at pickup and delivery, and a signature where one is given. Where a broker adds a photo of the driver's license, we read the driver's name, the license's type, class, issuing state and country, its issue and expiry dates, and the last four digits of its number, and compare the name and expiry date with the driver the carrier named and the pickup dates. Nothing else read from the license, such as the address or date of birth, is kept.

From tracking devices, where a broker adds one to a shipment: the positions the device reports, from when the broker links it to the shipment until delivery.

From your device, when you use one of our sites: your browser type, device type, IP address, and the pages you open. We use this to keep the sites working and secure.

How we use information

To create and maintain your shipment record and show it to you and to your broker. To send you the text messages described below, if you have agreed to receive them. To sign you in to your shipment record. To record the condition of your vehicle at pickup and delivery. To answer questions you type into your shipment record, using your broker's approved answers. To bill brokers for their use of the platform. To answer support requests. To meet legal obligations.

Text messages

Brokers who use the platform book shipments with their customers, and the platform sends text messages to those customers on the broker's behalf about their own shipment.

What we send. A booking confirmation with a link to your shipment record, a one-time code when you sign in, updates while a carrier is being found, including any request to approve a higher offer, notice that a carrier has been assigned, confirmation of pickup, your arrival window the day before delivery, confirmation of delivery, and a closing message stating how long you have to report damage. We also tell you when a shipment is delayed, a pickup window is missed, a pickup does not happen, or your order is canceled. If the delivery or price of a shipment you booked changes after pickup, we ask you to approve the change, and nothing changes until you do. Where your broker offers it, you can approve a higher offer by replying to a message. If your reply does not approve anything, we send one message a day saying so and where to see what is waiting. If you reply with a question, we send one message a day saying the number cannot read replies and where to get help. Every message names the broker you booked with. We do not send marketing messages. Separately, the driver assigned to your shipment is sent a text with the link to its inspection form, and can reply STOP to opt out.

How you opt in. Your broker asks you, when you book, whether you want text updates about your shipment, and records your answer on your order. Agreeing to text messages is optional. If you decline, your shipment is booked and carried out the same way and no messages are sent.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies with your shipment. Message and data rates may apply.

How you opt out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or call the broker named in the message. After you reply STOP you will receive one message confirming that you have been opted out, and nothing further.

What we keep and share. We keep a record of each message sent to you as part of your shipment record. Your mobile number and your consent to text messages are not shared with third parties for their marketing. Our messaging provider processes messages on our behalf and does not use your number for any other purpose. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Who we share information with

Your broker, who can see the shipment records of their own customers. The carrier and driver assigned to your shipment, who see what they need to collect and deliver your vehicle. Service providers who run the platform for us: hosting, database and file storage, text messaging, email, payment processing, reading driver license and VIN photos, vehicle tracking, and matching the questions you type to your broker's approved answers. Each processes information only to provide its service to us. Authorities, where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep information

Shipment records, including inspection photographs and signatures, are kept as the record of the shipment and of the condition of the vehicle, for as long as a claim could be raised and as long as the law requires. Driver license images, where a broker collects one, are deleted when they are no longer needed for the shipment they were collected for. What is read from a driver license image and the positions a tracking device reports are kept with the shipment record.

Security

Shipment records are stored per broker and separated at the database level, so one broker cannot read another broker's records. Inspection photographs are stored privately and reached only through short-lived links. Sign-in uses one-time codes and links rather than passwords.

Your choices

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. To correct or update your details, contact your broker. To ask what information we hold about you, or to ask for it to be deleted where the law allows, contact us at the address below.

Children

The platform is for booking vehicle transport and is not directed to anyone under 18.
