SMS opt-in policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

AutoPortation is operated by Concierge Auto Transport LLC. Text messages are sent to vehicle transport customers about their own shipment, on behalf of the broker they booked with.

How consent is collected

Consent is collected during the booking call. The broker asks:

"We can send you text updates about your shipment: your booking confirmation with a link to your shipment record, a sign-in code, updates while a carrier is found, carrier assignment, pickup and delivery confirmations, and notice of any delay or cancellation. Message frequency varies by shipment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is optional and does not affect your booking. Would you like text updates?"

If the customer agrees, the broker records the consent on the order and messages are sent. If the customer declines, the order is booked as normal and no messages are sent. Consent is not a condition of service.

What is sent

Messages are transactional and relate only to the customer's own shipment: a booking confirmation with a link to the shipment record, a one-time sign-in code, updates while a carrier is being found, including any request to approve a higher offer, notice of carrier assignment, pickup confirmation, the arrival window the day before delivery, delivery confirmation, and a closing message stating the time allowed to report damage. Customers are also told when a shipment is delayed, a pickup window is missed, a pickup does not happen, or the order is canceled. If the delivery or price of a shipment a customer booked changes after pickup, the customer is asked to approve the change, and nothing changes until they do. Where the broker offers it, a customer can approve a higher offer by replying to a message. A customer whose reply does not approve anything is sent one message a day saying so and where to see what is waiting. A customer who replies with a question is sent one message a day saying the number cannot read replies and where to get help. Every message names the broker the customer booked with. No marketing messages are sent. Separately, the driver assigned to a shipment is sent a text with the link to that shipment's inspection form, at the number the carrier gave the broker for the load. A driver can reply STOP to opt out.

Opting out and getting help

Customers can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. One confirmation message is sent after STOP and nothing further. Customers can get help by replying HELP, by calling the broker named in the message, or by calling 888-937-4478.

Privacy

Mobile numbers and consent to messaging are not shared with third parties for their marketing. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
